Differences between general centrifuges and cap-off centrifuges: Cap-off centrifuges belong to basic laboratory centrifuges, widely used in clinical medicine departments, cell biology, immunology, blood banks, pharmaceutical research and education, and manufacturing sectors.

 Also known as vacuum blood collection tube dedicated cap-off centrifuges.

 The differences between cap-off centrifuges and general centrifuges are: (1) Automatically removes the caps of vacuum blood collection tubes during centrifugation, improving efficiency.

 (2) Replaces manual cap removal to prevent contact between reagents and human skin.

 Installation considerations

The countertop of the cabinet must be securely fastened and level to prevent vibrations or movement of the equipment during operation of the capless centrifuge.

 The power supply must have a dedicated ground wire; zero wire and ground wire must not be shared to avoid electric shock risks.

 The capless centrifuge should be placed away from corrosive gases and magnetic interference to prevent premature failure of surface coatings on the equipment and adverse effects on electrical components.

 The capless centrifuge must be level with the four rubber feet evenly distributing the force.

 Common Issues: 1.

 After centrifugation, the rotor must be inverted on the workbench, excess water in the chamber wiped off, and the centrifuge lid kept open.

 2. The rotor cover must not be loosely placed on the centrifuge platform or workbench as accidental activation could cause the cover to fly out and create accidents.

 3. After tightening the rotor cover, fingers must verify there are no gaps between the rotor and cover. Retighten until no gaps remain before starting.

 4. During operation, personnel must not leave the centrifuge room. In case of abnormalities, do not turn off the power switch (POWER); press STOP instead.

 5. Never use counterfeit centrifuge tubes, cracked, deformed, or substandard tubes.
