Sealed horizontal screw-discharge sedimentation centrifuges operate on the same principle as standard horizontal screw-discharge sedimentation centrifuges. The primary difference lies in their structural design, which places greater emphasis on sealing and safety. All dynamic seals in the centrifuge employ safety seals, and where necessary, nitrogen-flushed seals and nitrogen-flushing systems are installed. The centrifuge’s operating status is monitored dynamically, and interlock protection is provided. Sealed centrifuges are primarily used in applications involving volatile, flammable, or explosive media. For certain models, centrifugal pumps can be used for pressure discharge to minimize secondary vaporization of the separated liquid, thereby enhancing the centrifuge’s密封性 and safety.
